The icy clarity of the large sparkling facets portrays the nature of the lovely snowflake. If you don't have a tree to adorn, this ornament would probably look lovely hanging on a window or by itself on an ornament stand. The design is substantial and it does not look frightening fragile; but light enough as to not weigh down a bough on a tree. I think that this ornament would appeal to broad variety of potential gift-ees because it is simply beautiful. I bought three of them for my adult children and I am glad that I did. All the ornaments arrived in perfect condition inside attractive Swarovski boxes that will help to protect the ornaments for years to come. If you think ice is beautiful or you are attracted to simple heavy crystal, you will love this ornament. Actually, I can't think of anyone that would find this ornament anything less than simply beautiful. I prefer the snowflake designs to the star designs, but both are spectacular. Hang these in a window and watch how they illuminate your room with sprinkles of rainbows. This year's design is a nice snowflake pattern with a lot of facets to make it sparkly. |
